VAN MEEL MOTOREN IN MADE, THE NETHERLANDS
This edition of ‘in the spotlight’ we are talking with Corné van Meel. As the first VROOAM dealer in the Netherlands, Van Meel Motoren has existed for almost 17 years and they still practice their profession with a lot of passion and dedication. Van Meel Motoren is known for their large arrangement motorcycles. In addition, they sell motorcycle parts, motorcycle clothing and provide excellent service and maintenance.
History of Van Meel Motoren.
Van Meel Motoren started in 1972 at the location in Oosterhout with its first owner Ad van Meel. “Because Ad wanted to quit with the business and was looking for a new owner, I, Corné van Meel, started working in the shop, with the aim to eventually take over the company. Unfortunately, due to a zoning plan of the local municipality we could not stay at this location”. Because of his father Jos van Meel and his close contact with the municipality Made, Corné knew that a lot on the industrial estate in Made was for sale. ” We started the business Van Meel Motoren in 2001 at the new location, De Brieltjenspolder in Made, ” says Corné.

The strength of Van Meel Motoren.
At Van Meel Motoren it’s always fun! They are exclusive dealer of Yamaha motorcycles and Rev’it! motorcycle clothing. The Property is impressive and easy accessible. The “less is more” interior makes the store neat and well-organized. This also applies to the workshop that is located inside the building. “In our workshop we have a lot of ‘know-how’ experience” says Corné. At the moment they are realizing a space for a test bench in order to further develop their specialism. In short: at Van Meel Motoren they do what they say and they say what they do!

Because Van Meel Motoren had cancelled the contract with another oil brand, They had space available in the store for a new brand. “VROOAM was still an upcoming brand with an enthusiastic team. When we asked which VROOAM product they want to highlight and which product is best sold at Van Meel Motoren, Corné is very clear: “The Chain Lube is great and the VR50 10W-40 Is the best sold product! That is why I can sincerely recommend the VROOAM products to other dealers. Meanwhile, VROOAM has built a good racing image, and if it works on the racetrack, then it must be good for the road as well, right ?!”
